||Treatment of keratinisation disorders (seborrhoea) associated with bacterial (staphylococcal) and yeast (Malassezia sp.) overgrowth in dogs and cats. An aid in the treatment of fungal overgrowth (Microsporum sp. and Trichophyton sp.) and pyoderma in dogs and cats.
||Econazole is a topical broad spectrum fungicide and is antibacterial against Gram-positive cocci and bacilli. Chloroxylenol has antimicrobial activity against Gram-negative bacteria as well as Gram-positive bacteria. Salicylic acid causes the tissue cells to swell, soften and desquamate, thereby loosening the dry, keratinised cells. Sulphur in Sebazole produces a keratolytic (peeling) and keratoplastic (softening) effect on the skin when applied topically.
