Quantity40ml Bottle
IndicationInfections including skin and soft tissue diseases (e.g. abscesses, pyoderma, anal sacculitis and gingivitis), urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, septicaemia and postparturient infections in dogs and cats.

ActionsResistance to many antibiotics is caused by β-lactamase enzymes which destroy the antibiotic before it can act on the bacteria. In vitro, Clavulox is active against a wide range of clinically important bacteria, including Gram-positive: Staphylococci (including β-lactamase producing strains), Corynebacteria, Streptococci; Gram-negative: Escherichia coli (including β-lactamase producing strains), Bordetella bronchiseptica, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella sp. (including β-lactamase producing strains), Pasteurella and Klebsiella.Clavulox is not indicated for cases involving Pseudomonas sp.
